We are living in challenging times. While you know it’s possible to live your dreams through the power of an awakened and inspired imagination – waking up is often hard to do! And so many have defaulted to sleepwalking through life.

The Awakened Artist is a path that supports you in becoming a more conscious creator of your art, your life and your world.

CONNECT with the source of your own inner light, your unique soul essence – and with your shadow self, those aspects of your conscious self which in the past did not feel safe for you to experience or express, and so disconnected from your light. These shadow aspects are still there, calling for your love and compassion.

CREATE your art and your life as a natural outcome of connecting with your inner light and shadow, the source of your creative power. As a conscious creator you birth dynamic new possibilities into the world which begin to awaken others to the power of connection and wholeness.

HEAL the illusion of separation and lack as you come into alignment and integration of your whole self, able to create all that you desire to express and experience in your art and your life

THRIVE as you begin to flow through life in this fluid state of wholeness and connection with your inner source of creative power. The more you connect and create, the more you thrive and awaken others to their own ability to thrive.

Your ongoing journey of awakening is unique to you. Your soul is continuously guiding you, communicating through intuition, imagination and the desires of your heart – as you move more and more from surviving to thriving.

The Awakened Artist offerings include:

* Online Course – a 6-module course (offered in various formats) to support you in moving from your current state of awareness, to living your fullest creative potential as an artist & human being. 

* Private Coaching – which supports you in taking the work deeper; with Deb as your safe and gentle guide, you journey into your shadows and light to re-connect with your wholeness

* Community – offering support, inspiration, resources, networking and collaborative opportunities through our FREE private Facebook group and ongoing online live coaching with Deb; Everyone is welcome!

Workshops and Classes – which are offered to groups (studios, schools, etc.) for intensive work in a short amount of time, intended to deepen and expand your connection with your creative freedom and power

A little about me...

I am committed to the principle of the ‘Highest Good of All – for myself, everyone and the world.’ If something doesn’t serve the Highest Good of All, it doesn’t feel right to me. Throughout my life this has been my North Star, pulling me toward a sense of compassion, justice and service in everything I do - as a coach and teacher, singer, songwriter, non-profit co-founder, developing screenwriter, and former circus showgirl.

There’s nothing better than creative expression that serves the Highest Good – art that challenges the mind, touches the heart, enlivens the spirit. I am convinced that awakened art has the viral potential to exponentially uplift and change the world, one soul at a time.

I have dedicated over 35 years to receiving training, knowledge and tools from artistic, spiritual, scientific and therapeutic resources - to support myself and others in the pursuit of well-being and thriving. As a voice and songwriting teacher, I help artists and performers to express themselves authentically, with power and presence. As a life coach, I support clients in aligning their work and their lives with the deeper calling of their spirit. A natural networker, I love bringing creatives together for collaborations, resources and inspiration.

For 9 years as co-founder and co-director of a culturally diverse arts non-profit for teens in southern New Jersey called The Changing Our World (COW) Project, we gave troubled teens a safe and healthy platform to address bullying and intolerance through their original multi-media performances for school assemblies, state conferences and community events. The award-winning project not only changed lives, it saved lives. I have produced numerous large events that empower youth and women artists, including the transformative 10-day East Coast USA Tour of Peace Child Israel, as well as GoGirlsMusic and Mamapalooza music and arts festivals.

My quest for transformation through the arts awakened a deeper vision in me – to use my life, my knowledge, my gifts and my passion – to inspire and empower artists to use their own art and creative expression to inspire and empower others. So that everyone may thrive and experience a more compassionate and loving world that works for everyone. This is the work I now devote my life to, sharing The Awakened Artist trainings, coaching and global community of artists with all those who dare to dream this possible dream together.
